The past few summers have been spent towing a camper around to different beaches along the east coast. Now that summer is a few short weeks away, I can hear the beach calling me back. No camper this year, but all the fun. I was looking back through some pictures for the Two Image Graphic Spread. I found these two from a trip we took to the KOA resort in Cape Hatteras, NC. It was a great trip and we got to meet up with some family from out of state. In addition to all of the fun in the sun, we also visited Bodie Lighthouse.
The pictures I selected for this assignment were of the lighthouse and a pier on the campground. I thought these pictures both came out really nice and brought back some good memories for me.
To combine the images, I used the iOS app PicCollage. It’s easy to use and free, unless you want upgrade to the VIP version. I’ll outline the steps below.
Step 1
Once you download and open the app, tap on grids.
Step 2
First select the 16:9 ratio, then choose the side-by-side layout.
Step 3
Once you select a layout, tap on each empty box, to select the photos you want to use from your phone’s photo folder.
Step 4
Now that my images are selected, there are options at the bottom to edit them more.
Step 5
I used the text feature to write the locations of my photos.
Step 6
At this point, I was done with my two image graphic spread. Pic Collage has a premium option to remove the watermark, but I wasn’t worried about it.
