Week 1 Summary

My favorite activity from this assignment period was the Photo Safari. It was gorgeous day and this was a perfect opportunity to walk around in downtown Fredericksburg. We’ve done scavenger hunts like this with our kids in different cites and they are a lot of fun. If you haven’t done one, you should check them out.

I don’t know if I learned any new knowledge this week. I did get a lot of practice using my camera on my phone and brushing up on old skills. The thing that gave the most trouble this week was my electricity going out on Sunday afternoon and my road being blocked by a tree with a downed power line. I happen to live in an area with poor cellular data so I had finish up this weeks assignments using my phone and no WiFi. This meant that I couldn’t embed media or upload pictures. I kept trying to upload picture but WordPress kept giving me an upload failed message. After trying to upload repeatedly I got message that my account has exceeded the storage limit. Apparently, there are multiple copies of every picture I’ve uploaded this week. I tried to go to Starbucks to use their WiFi. That’s when I discovered the tree was down on the only road leading out of my neighborhood.

I wouldn’t really do anything differently besides purchasing a generator after the snowstorm last January.

Blog Comments

There is one Here, and I responded to a comment on my blog here in. I’m certain that there are at least one or two more. I didn’t make note of where I commented, lesson learned. Next week I’ll keep an active list of comments and Twitter interactions.
